Anna M. Montalvo, BS in Human Services & Development, is a Licensed Practical Nurse and the Executive Director of a women’s health nonprofit that provides trauma-informed care, parenting education, and holistic support to teen and adult mothers. With personal experience as a former foster youth, foster parent, and now adoptive mother, Anna brings both clinical skill and lived wisdom to her work with families navigating complex challenges.
In her leadership role, Anna offers bilingual peer counseling, supports early pregnancy services, and oversees outreach and fundraising efforts to meet the emotional, physical, and practical needs of women and families. She is a trusted educator in maternal mental health, trauma-informed parenting, and healing after pregnancy-related trauma.
Before leading in maternal health, Anna worked as a pediatric nurse for 10 years serving medically complex children, where she was known for her gentle presence and culturally responsive care.
Anna also facilitates women’s support groups focused on identity, healing, and faith-informed growth. Fluent in English and Spanish, she is known for creating safe, empowering spaces where women can receive care and rediscover their strength.
